Hargreaves Delivers First MEP Product to HS2

Exyte Hargreaves is working to support the delivery of HS2. Our team achieved a landmark milestone in February by commencing manufacture of ductwork for the HS2 South Ruislip project.

On Track for HS2

South Ruislip project joins another two assets secured by Exyte Hargreaves for HS2. In collaboration with our client, SCS JV, we have now enabled the first MEP delivery for HS2. The products are part of the fire rated smoke extract and stair pressurisation systems at South Ruislip. Eventually, there will be in excess of 1,200 linear metres of ducting on the project.

The delivery of the HVAC, (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning) shaft riser modules for the South Ruislip Vent Shaft is the first of many. This is due to excellent work by our business development, operations, digital innovation and manufacturing teams amongst others. The project now moves with pace into delivery mode and is a proud moment for all involved.

With a commitment to project efficiency, safety and quality, the modules were manufactured in the North West before transportation to site. Sophisticated DfMA (Design for Manufacture & Assembly) processes ensure the production process is carried out in a controlled environment within the Hargreaves dedicated manufacturing facility.
