Exyte Hargreaves is delighted that our Engineering Young Talent programme has been recognised in the Make UK Manufacturing Awards 2024 (North West). Last night we were the runner-up in the Developing Future Talent category.
Engineering Young Talent
Our Engineering Young Talent (EYT) programme is no stranger to success. The judges were impressed by our award submission which spoke about bringing EYT back after its COVID-enforced hiatus. They also spoke highly of our ongoing engagement with local colleges and training providers.
At the centre of our submission was the undoubted talent being shown by our 2023 and 2024 apprentice groups. Last year’s intake saw us welcome apprentices for the first time in Business Development, Marketing and Digital Innovation. In 2024, we had a record number of applications well in excess of 200.
EYT is growing and going from strength to strength. This is due in no small part to the efforts of Jane Gregory and our team around the business:
“I am so proud to have all our hard work recognised by our industry peers. The programme has and is still producing amazing talent. This is achieved by the fabulous young people who we have within the business, but more still by all our colleagues who understand the importance of developing the next generation. The award is testament to the dedication of all our past and current apprentices, and all colleagues within Exyte Hargreaves, who give their time and knowledge to make the programme a success.” Jane Gregory, Learning & Development Coordinator
