Our #24In24 series is profiling the new members of team Hargreaves who’ve joined the company throughout 2024. Here is a record of our recent interview with Document Controller, Jenny Sears.
Why did you decide to join Exyte Hargreaves?
I decided to join Exyte Hargreaves because of its reputation for career development. The idea of engaging with different projects across multiple sectors was a very exciting opportunity. Exyte Hargreaves really supports diversity and encourages teamwork. I know that this will really enhance both my personal and professional development.
Since joining, what’s been your experience of Exyte Hargreaves?
I worked with the business a while ago, so it’s nice to come back in and see the positive changes which have been made across the board. Everyone has really welcomed me back and I’m looking forward to everything exciting to come.
Can you talk a bit more about some of the things you’ve been working on?
Over the last few months I’ve been embedding into the Quality team and spending time with the other Document Controllers. My two main areas of focus have been establishing the quality control process within manufacturing. Also, supporting the rest of the Quality team on projects.
What would you say is the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is knowing that my work has a direct impact on the efficiency and success of our projects. I really appreciate the collaborative nature of my role, regularly interacting with various teams, departments and clients. It helps me to improve my understanding of different projects.
