Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering

In April 22-24 (2024) there is going to be an international conference on Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering in Munich, Germany. The event aims to bring together leading academic figures, industry experts and others to share research and experiences in the field of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering.

Background

My university supervisor is presenting at this international conference. Originally, I’d planned to focus on Rollercoasters, but I changed this to HVAC to bring the topic closer to Hargreaves specialism. Doing this made it more practical for the research and allowed me to learn more about the HVAC industry. The opportunity to visit our factory, and see duct being manufactured in-house, allowed me to photograph projects such as Hinkley Point C and Co Op Live.

The name of my disseration is called CFD (Computed Fluid Dynamics) Simulation of HVAC Curved Duct Ventilation. It was simulated Ansys. This is an achievement that I wish to highlight as it was good enough to be presented internationally with a piece of Hargreaves Duct, from this work I received a Distinction.

I am proud of my work to be presented and hope in helping Exyte Hargreaves gain exposure at this event.

"It is great to see one of our Graduate Engineers making most of the opportunities in front of them and receiving the well deserved recognition."
