The Role

We are looking for an Assistant EHS advisor to support our project in the South West. You will work closely with the site EHS Advisor to ensure safe working without harm to people, property or the environment.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Implement company ‘Core Values’
  • Actively encourage implementation of company ‘Best Practice / Best Known Methods’
  • Respond to any queries that come through to the team.
  • Champion Health & Safety systems, activities and projects.
  • Assist in the communication of standards and procedures.
  • Support company, client and legislative EHS requirements
  • Assisting with investigations into any quality, health, or safety incidents.
  • Working with teams across the business to risk assess activities and identify improvements
  • Maintain and safeguard all required statutory records and reports
  • Attend EHS committee meetings, as necessary
  • Standardise EHS systems, practices and procedures  

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • NEBOSH General / Construction Occupational H&S Certificate
  • Skills Certification Scheme card holder (CSCS)
  • Knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation, CDM Regulations.
  • Computer literate, as minimum Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint
