Exyte Hargreaves is extremely pleased that our Integrated Management System (IMS) has been re-accredited following a recent successful audit. The audit covered the ISO standards for 9001 (Quality), 14001 (Environmental) and 45001 (Health & Safety).
Our IMS is built using the Dalux system. It is both a demonstration of our brand and an expression of how we deliver projects. Additionally, the IMS has standardised a lot of our processes and demonstrates to our stakeholders that we are in full control of our works. Finally, as a central repository for Quality & Governance it makes locating documents infinitely easier and saves a huge amount of time.
These re-accreditations happen every 4 years and are vital to our continuing operation. Furthermore, they form a core competency for all of our key clients. The audit lasted for 9 person-days (condensed into 4 calendar days with multiple auditors). The process involved a lot of hard work from a lot of our team. The initial results we have received are very commendable, and include 3 positive observations being raised. This was only a small reflection of how complimentary the auditors were of our setup as a whole.
Throughout the week we were asked to provide evidence to the entire clause selection for all three ISOs and thanks to the inputs of the people involved. This was achieved comfortably. Having also taken part in the previous re-accreditations before the launch of the IMS, it was very encouraging to see how not only the structure has improved, but also the confidence and knowledge demonstrated by the auditees involved.
